Hello folks! We are delighted to present you once again some of the best hands played by LPers. There are all kinds of hands in this bulletin, from hilarious bluffs to monstrous pots won by unexpected holdings. Some of the hands are pure art, while others are the best poker entertainment.

Low/Mid Stakes Hand of the Week - 6/9 – 6/15

The winning hand of this week was played when gororokgororok was playing a $1/$2 6-handed game. After UTG limps in, gororok raises from the BB for UTG to call. After that, gororok check-called in three consecutive streets on a very drawy and dangerous board. In the end, his Ace-high hand was more than enough to beat villain's busted straight draw.

Runner-up: The next hand shows T8Suited playing 98Suited and having the guts to make a sick bluff on the river to make his opponent fold his hand. First, T8suited raised preflop and got called. The flop came 3KJ and T8Suited made a standard cbet, which was called. An Ace of spades fell on the turn. This time, our hero check-called his opponent's bet with the flushdraw. The river bricked a six, and that's when the magic happened. Villain made a 2/3 pot bet and T8suited, with complete air, made a big bluff that caused villain fold his hand!

3rd place: It’s not really common that we pick 3 hands, but we couldn’t let this one out. In some ways, it is similar to our winning hand. Once again it was played by gororokgororok. Holding AJs, he didn’t believe villain had a made hand, despite the scary board, and check-called all the way to the showdown, winning the hand with just Ace high!

High Stakes Hand of the Week - 6/9 - 6/15

This hand was played by none other than Peachy/northface. Peachy was deepstacked in a shorthanded $25/$50 game when he called a 4-bet with JQcc8T. The flop came as scary as possible for an Omaha game: TQA all diamonds. Peachy had two pairs and a straight draw. The board made both a flush and straight possible, but Peachy had only 1 diamond card. Being the first to act, he check-called a 2/3 pot bet. The king of hearts fell on the turn, completing Peachy’s straight. Peachy once again check-called his opponent’s bet, but this time villain’s bet was proportionally lower than the previous one. When the board bricked a two of clubs, Peachy knew he was ahead and checked again, letting his opponent bet the rest of his stack and optimizing his profit in this hand. He won an astounding 505bb pot!

Peachy makes three unbelievable calls in Omaha

Special Mention: Artanis himself made the description of this hand in the hand history. I’ll say no more, you just can’t miss this hand:

Like someone said… Gold, Pure Gold

Low/Mid Stakes Hand of the Week – 6/16 - 6/22

When, besides you, there are three other people in the hand and someone calls your flop bet, one would think there is a good chance the caller has something in his hands. That’s probably what edzwoo thought when his flop bet in a 4way pot got called by one of his opponents. He had the second pair with TT, just behind a hypothetical pair of Jacks. The turn brought a seven of diamonds, and both players checked. When the three of clubs fell on the river, villain semi-bluffed with an overbet, pushing all in. Edzwoo didn’t buy it and made an insane call, winning a 325bb pot!

Runner-up: The next hand is just awesome. Playing $1/$2 heads-up, Day[9] managed to make his opponent give up his holding after a succession of small raises on the flop. I don’t need to say Day had complete air, right?

Raise. Raise. Raise. Raise. Raise…

High Stakes Hand of the Week – 6/16 – 6/22

The best hand of this week was played by Twisted in a $5/$10 6-handed game. Holding 78o, he flatcalled a raise in the BB. The flop came 28Q with two clubs and gave him the mid-pair, and Twisted check-called his opponent’s bet. Although his holding was becoming weaker street after street, Twisted check and called bets twice more after a King and an Ace fell on the board. Our hero used his amazing soulreading skills to spot villain’s bluff and took down a sweet 100bb pot!

Twisted soulreads his opponent and wins a great pot

Special Mention: This hand is here for entertainment purposes only. We decided to give Cosmo a special mention because of his uncanny ability to keep posting his mid-stakes hands in the wrong place! (The fact that the hand is hilarious has also helped).

"Almost can’t, once you say that"

Tournament Performances - 6/9 - 6/22

And the Tournament Performance award of this bulletin goes to... JonnyCosmo. Yeah! Cosmo reached the final table of the $2,000 NLHE event at the WSOP and collected $116,833 . It was an incredible result, so we want to congratulate John McGowan for being so f. awesome!

Chris has had a sick score as well. He took down the $150 + $12 at PokerStars for a $18,800 paycheck. Beautiful, man!

Iop finished in third place in the $50K granted at Full Tilt Poker for over $7,000. That's a great score! Good job!
