** High Stakes Hand of the Week ** (3/24 – 3/30)
DustySwedeDude’s hand is just awesome. He takes advantage of the board and bluffs his opponent out of his way with complete air. Playing a $3/$6 short handed game, DustySwedeDude 3-bet SB’s action and got called. The flop came 9-9-5, and both players decided to check. When the queen of spades fell on the turn, Villain fired a ¾ pot bet. Dusty countered with a raise, which was reraised by Villain. What we saw next was a great shove by Dusty, who won the mind war and bluffed villain out of the hand holding complete air!

He was playing in a $3/$6 short-handed game holding AT when he faced a raise from the button and decided to call. After seeing a 334 rainbow flop, Tom check-raised his opponent, who made the call. A two of spades fell on the turn, and once again Tom let the opposition bet, but this time he just called. The river brought a Queen of clubs, and for the third time tom check and waited for his opponent’s action. Villain fired an overbet and moved all-in. Tom called and took down a sweet pot of over 200bb.

The river brought a five of diamonds, pairing the board. MiPwnYa made another half-pot bet and saw his opponent put some pressure on him with a all-in push. Runner-up: We have a tie for the runner-up this week. In the first hand, Python817 was seated in a $2/$4 table with T8o in his hands when he raised from the button and got called. The flop favored him, as it came 855 rainbow. When the action was check to him, Python made a 2/3 pot bet. Villain raised and Python made the call. The turn brought the jack of diamonds. This time, Villain made a ¾ pot bet, Python just called. A king of clubs fell on the river, in what looked to be a disaster for Python’s plans. Villain tried to represent a good hand as he shoved all-in. Python knew better though, as he made a sick call to bust Villain’s bluff and take down a big pot!
Python makes an insane read and wins a great hand with just the 3rd pair
Runner-up #2: The next hand was played by one of our Sunday Million winners. TimDawg. Tim had KJo in his hands when he raised from the CO position. Villain, the button, made the call. The flop came 2-T-5 with two hearts, and TimDawg made the continuation bet for $22 into $30. His opponent flatted. An ace of clubs fell on the turn. Tim once again bet. Then, Villain tried to see what was up with Tim’s action by raising. Wrong choice though, as TimDawg reraised all in to make Villain fold and win a 78bb pot.

** High Stakes Hand of the Week **
For the second week in a row, it’s DustySwedeDude who plays the best hand of the week. This time he was playing a $5/$10 6-handed game. He was the SB and his holecards were pocket fives when he opened the action with an 8bb raise, which was called by the villain. Both players checked when they saw a dangerous 9-2-K all hearts board. A six of spades fell on the turn, and despite having only the 4th pair, DustySD bet and called villain’s raise. The board brought another king on the river. This time Dusty just checks and let Villain make his action. The opponent fires a pot-sized bet, but Dusty knows he is ahead and makes an unreal call. This play was worth almost 2 buy-ins!

Holding 7J99r, Peachy raises from the button and answers a 3-bet with another raise, which is called. The flop came 259, and it couldn’t really be any better than that for Peachy. What we see next is a raise-fest, until both players get all-in, to Peachy’s delight. His opponent held QQKJ, but no Q was dealt to the board in the later streets. Peachy’s set was worth exactly $20,408.50, or 1020bbs!

The winning low-stakes hand of this week was played by gawdawful. He was playing $0.50//$1 short-handed when he raised UTG with 88. Two other players made the call. A drawy flop was dealt to the board: 65T with two hearts. The smallblind and gawdawful checked before Villain bet $8 into $11.50. SB gave up his hand, while gawdawful called. The turn was a king of spades, and gawdawful did the same thing as in the flop betting round: check-call. The river paired the board with another six, and once again gawdawful cheked. Villain didn’t think about the size of his bet this time, he pushed all-in. Put on a decision, gawdawful made the right choice and called, busting villain’s straight draw.

Both players were sitting really deepstacked at a $0.10/$0.25 game when Kaisr 4-bets and gets called. After a T-K-7 with 2 spades flop, Kaisr calls his opponent tiny bet. The board bricks a four next, and villain makes another weak bet, while Kaisr makes another call. A queen falls on the river, making the board even more dangerous to our hero. *** Low-Mid Stakes Hand of the Week ***
We’ve had no High Stakes Hands this week, so let’s go straight to the Low and Mid Stakes winners. Dryath was playing a $1/$2 full-ring game when he made a raise with 76s under-the-gun. Almost everyone folded, except for DWmasters, who made the call. The flop came 793 rainbow. Holding the second pair, dryath tried to take the pot down with a 2/3 pot bet, but villain called. Dryath checked and called after seeing the jack of diamonds fall on the turn. The river paired the board, bringing a nine of clubs. Once again dryath checked and let villain bet. Villain answered the check with a shove, which was brilliantly called by dryath, who busted Villain’s weak pair with a sick narrow call!

Runner-up: The next hand was played by a very familiar face. Timdawg was sitting in a $2/$4 game when he raised AQo UTG and got called. The drawy 8-K-T with two clubs board, gave Tim a gutshot straight draw. He fired $22 into $30, his opponent made the call. The seven of diamonds fell on the turn, and then the action became big. Time bet and was counter-attacked with a "fixed-limit" raise, which he repelled with an all-in push. Villain, who held AJ, didn’t believe Tim had a made hand, in which he was right, but he didn’t expect Tim to have a better hand than him. The river brought a two of clubs, which made no changes in the outcome of the hand. Tim’s soulreading skills awarded him this big pot, worth of 200bb.

Low/Mid Stakes Hand of The Week
The winning Low-/mid-stakes hand of the week was played in a 6-max $2/$4 game with both players in this hand having stacks from 375 to 400 big blinds deep! After 5-betting QJo and getting called by his opponent, Maynard! decides to cbet the AT6-rainbow flop. When he gets called, most people would decide to give up on the hand except for when the king comes on the turn or river. But when his opponent checks behind on the turn, Maynard! senses some weakness and decides to shove the river, with success, winning him a $1356 pot!
Maynard! makes a Q-high shove in this deepstacked hand
Runner-up
TalentedTom's deepstacked shove here is one for value. After calling a 3-bet preflop he check-raises the villain on the 4-2-4 rainbow flop and gets called. The on the turn doesn't really hit much of his opponent's range and he bets again and again gets called. After another 4 comes on the turn any pair would make a full house, and so does Tom's pocket 8's, but a very vulnerable one. Still, he decides to stick with his hand and shove for value it seems. His opponent clearly puts Tom on air, as he calls with for just the board and ace high!
