<img align="right" src=http://www.liquidpoker.net/staff/Pindarots/09April/hevadkhan.jpg style="margin:4px; border: 1px solid black;">With 8301 enrolled for the $55 6-max NLHE SCOOP Event 14-L (so low buy-in), there was a prizepool of $415,050 to be divided amongst 1500 in-the-money finishers. With a few Pokerstars Pro's playing this event as well, there was only one left after Gavin Griffin busted out in 210th place. But that one was none other than our own Hevad "RaiNKhAN" Khan, who had been playing amongst the bigstacks throughout the tournament.
When they were down to the final table of 6, there was already one vacant seat. That was because the number 6 and 7 were busted out at around the same time, so 5 players made it down to the final table. Hevad Khan was the chipleader, just ahead of Max Katz and the show started, as Hevad gracefully pointed out for the observers: RaiNKhAN: I know the observers can't speak but
RaiNKhAN: THIS IS A FRONT ROW SEAT TO THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH!!!!!
RaiNKhAN: GET RDY! Max Katz however was the player who busted out all of the other final-table players, as he hit top set against the 2 pair of ItchY 84, dominated calexc123 A8o with AJo and sucked out on jmw71785's with his as he hit a 9 on the flop.
This meant only two were left: Max Katz holding over 31 million chips was way ahead of RaiNKhAN's stack of just under 10 million. Hevad's stack went down to less than 3.5 million, but he managed to double up with QTs vs T9o and later doubled up again with top pair against a rivered second pair for his opponent. Hevad started playing more aggressive, and caused Max Katz to shove over with Q8o on a 5-4-2 flop and Khan doubled up again, as he held pocket jacks to take the chiplead.
It was all Hevad Khan who did the betting, and while Max Katz was able to win a few small pots, there was no way he was gonna stop the bulldozer from running him over. The final hand came down after a preflop raise from Khan. Max Katz calls him and we see a flop. Some raising and reraising follows, and Katz calls the 3bet to see the turn. Both check and at the river, Katz checks again. Hevad shoves all-in and Max Katz with . Hevad shows and wins the tournament after a great comeback, earning him $58,107.01 . Congratulations on another oustanding performance!
