Mig FT at $5k NLHE in the Bellagio!

He will play the final table of the $5,000 No Limit Hold’em Event at the Festa al Lago, that is taking place at the Bellagio. The tourney had a small field, with only 63 registered players, but the first prize is worth of $121,000.

Some pretty good players are playing this 2-day tournament, such as <b>Jonathan Little</b>, <b>Michael Binger</b> and our own <b>Corwin “Myth” Cole</b>, who won the $2K NLHE event a couple days ago. Sadly, Myth was eliminated half way into the tournament. Mig comes into the final table with around 145,000 chips and has the second biggest stack of the table. The blinds are currently 2000 and 4000. The final table is pretty tough, take a look at some of the guys who are playing: <b>Dustin “neverwin” Woolf</b>, <b>Michael Binger</b>, <b>Jonathan Little</b>, 2nd place at the event number 3 of the series, <b>Amnon Filippi</b> and <b>Toto Leonidas</b>.


We had a short chat with Mig a couple hours before the final table. Check it out!


<b>Q: Can you tell us about how your day played out?</b>
Mig: Things went ok. I played kind of poorly early, but ran well. Then I think I played much better towards the end of the Day. I had a couple fortunate situations, AA vs KK against Carlos Mortenson and QQ vs JJ against Nick Binger, but I had both of them covered by a good amount.

<b>Q: Is there any big pot we can call a decisive point?</b>
Mig: Not really. I was never all-in the entire tourney, I’ve been more winning smaller pots without showdown, slowly building up.

<b>Q: Out of those great players in the ft, anyone you would point the toughest opponent?</b>
Mig: Probably Jonathan Little. He plays fairly tight but has a really good 3bet frequency, He 3bets just a bit more than he actually has hands so it’s hard to accurately predict his range
