PokerStars continues expanding their continental tours! This week they announced some new features for the 5th European Poker Tour season, that kicks off in September in Barcelona. Now the EPT will have 10 events instead of last season's 9, as they just added a stop at Budapest, Hungary, during the days October 28 - November 01. Its going to be a four day NLHE event with a buy-in of €4,350. The tournament will take place at Budapest's Las Vegas Casino.
EPT Directors also created a hotel booking service, located at the website <a href="http://www.epthotels.com">www.epthotels.com</a>, with the intention of helping players to set up their trips to EPT events.
The most exciting announcement is definitely the <i>PokerStars EPT 1 Million Pound Showdown</i> a 2-day high roller NLHE tournament that is scheduled for October 5-6, during the <b>EPT London</b>. The tournament will have a £20,000 + £300 buy-in and a guaranteed prize of, as the name suggests, 1 Million Pounds! I'm sure we can expect a lot of big names in this event! Online qualifiers for this event are also available under the tab "Events - EPT" on PokerStars. |
