Day 2A and 2B started with 3630 players in total, devided over the 2 days. 1251 would play day 2A, 2379 in day 2B, and in the end, 1308 players would make it to day 3, being played later tonight. In total, 12 players from Liquidpoker.net would play day 2, but unfortunately only 5 of them would make day 3. Worst knockout must have been Ket's hand in day 2A, when he got all-in with kings, when he got slowrolled by a guy with aces. All in all, day 2A was a disastrous day for the Liquidpoker-members playing, with all 4 of them busting out. Day 2B could only be better, and it was, 5 out of 8 made it through day 3. Their chipstacks are below:
Bertrand Grospellier (ElkY) 151.800
Hevad Khan (RainKhan) 113.200
Evan McNiff (FrinkX) 101.400
Lex Veldhuis (RasZi) 80.000
Justin St John (NMcNasty) 55.200
Next blindslevel: $1000/$2000 with $200 ante
By far the chipleader at day 3 is Brian Schaedlich, with about 1.5x the stack of the number two, Peter Biebel. A few of the players knocked out include former winners Jerry Yang, Carlos Mortensen, Joe Hachem and Scotty Nguyen. Phil Helmuth and Johnny Chan are still trying to win their 2nd and 3rd Main Event, but they still have a very long way to go. Out of the 1308 players starting day 3, 666 will get paid with at least $21.333 . Tonight we'll see who makes the next step towards the money.
