I'm sure many of you have heard of Eric "p3achy_keen" Liu's strong performance in the EPT Monte Carlo Event. He finished in 16th place, taking home €55,200. What you might not know is that somewhere in Vegas, another storm was raging as Liquid Poker's tournament hurricane trio swept over the Five-Star World Poker classic $5,000 event! Hevad "RaiNKhaN" Khan, Corwin " vital]Myth" Cole and James "Mig.com" Mackey all went on a raging rampage for fame and glory!
Each of them is receiving prizes, but the battle is far from over! RaiNKhaN's jacks ran into Shannon Shorr's ace king in a preflop all-in situation and the Bulldozer got bulldozed into oblivion in 15th place, granting him the consollation prize of $9,270. Soon to follow was Myth who, being short-stacked, jammed in with KQ and got called by Joe Graziano's snowmen. The pair of eights held up for Mr. Graziano and Myth was out in 12th place, giving him $10,110 to drink down tonight in the afterparty.
However, when it seemed grim and dark, a new hope emerged! Mig.com, LP.net's own tournament god, decided that it was time to show these donks who's the boss! What better way to do this than by taking the chiplead! The play is now down to 9-handed with Herr Mackey being the chipleader by a nice gap! Go Mr. Mackey, mmkay?! Show us that you're not a 100 hit wonder, but 101!

The details are unclear, but Bruno Fitoussi just doubled through James Mackey for a 1,000,000 pot.

Shannon Shorr raises to 45,000 and James Mackey reraises to 120,000. Shorr announces that he is all in and Mackey calls the additional 85,000. Shorr shows QQ and Mackey is behind with AQ. The board comes Q5239 and Shorr doubles up to 425,000. Mackey is left with just over 200,000.
