Alcohol has a way of making one late for doing things. My head still hurts but onward and forward!
High-Stakes Hand of the Week
Our first hand this week is from Babs hailing from Australia. While playing 5/10 full ring he finds himself in the big blind.
It folds around to the small blind, another LPer in wobbly_au, who raises to 40 and Babs smooth calls with ATo. Seeing
a flop of Kh2hQx wobbly leads out for 60 and Babs just smooth calls with his gutshot and overcard. The turn brings another
K and wobby leads out again for 166 into the 200 pot. Babs sensing something is amiss calls again. Wobby fires a third time
for 400 and Babs snaps off Wobby's pure bluff with Ahigh to win a sizeable pot.
The Low-Stakes hand this week comes from our beloved swede SakiSaki. Playing in a 2/4 heads up game he calls a raise
with As8d. The flop comes Kd5d5x and he check raises the 20 c-bet to 64 and his opponent makes the call. On a 3d turn
SakiSaki leads out for 120 and gets raises to 280. He then shoves forcing his opponent to fold for only 274 more. Sick bluff!
Tournament performacne of the week clearly goes to Raszi for his 3rd place finish in the PokerStars Sunday Million this week.
He cashed for a whopping $73,940. Not too shabby!
