Liquidpoker Weekly Tournaments
This week we had a great turnout for the LP weekly tournaments. 25 players registered for the weekly, 9 registered for the HU, and 15 degens registered for the flipament.
Also, TimeDawg was the lucky winner of our LP avatar lottery this week. He received $50 via PokerStars for wearing an LP avatar. If you’d like to participate in this lottery next week you can click here to pick an LP PokerStars avatar.
The final table of the weekly began with this chip counts:
Seat 1: NineOne0ne (840 in chips)
Seat 2: tzouras (1910 in chips)
Seat 3: nicksson (3156 in chips)
Seat 4: TrueRandom (2664 in chips)
Seat 5: Shad99 (3320 in chips)
Seat 6: Heath_at_UK (8315 in chips)
Seat 7: sh@kira (7300 in chips)
Seat 8: ploper (4700 in chips)
Seat 9: Edjon (5295 in chips
The first elimination of the final table came when ploper ran his QQ into sh@kira’s KK. The board developed in an amusing way for those interested http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/396895. The next elimination came when NineOne0ne got all in preflop with KQs vs Shad99’s ATo and couldn’t manage to suck out. Tzouras was the next to be eliminated in 7th place when he got all in preflop with KJo vs Heath’s 99 and couldn’t manage to spike a face card.
Heath eliminated another player, Shad99, in 6th place when his AQs held vs Shad99’s AJs in a preflop all in. sh@kira, eliminated in 5th place, apparently didn’t believe Heath had the goods as he called Heath’s push on the turn and ran into top 2 pair in this hand.
Even after all of his steamrolling, Heath was this week’s bubble boy. He was eliminated in 4th place when he got all in preflop with 99 vs TrueRandom’s KQs and couldn’t manage to hold up.
The first elimination in the money came when Edjon got all in preflop with TT vs nicksson’s QJo and nicksson made top-two on the turn. The deciding hand of HU came when nicksson got all in preflop with 44 vs TrueRandom’s A8o and hit a set on the turn. TrueRandom was eliminated shortly after with 96o vs KTo all in preflop.
Edjon finished 3rd for $50.00 and 58.04 ladder points, TrueRandom finished 2nd for $75.00 and 71.09 ladder points, and finally nicksson was the champion for the week earning $125.00 , 100.54 ladder points and the trophy icon. Congratulations!
Heath_at_UK and ccmoz finished 4th and 3rd respectively for $13.50 each. AngeL_fH finished 2nd for $22.50 , and TimeDawg was our HU champion for the week finishing 1st for $40.50 and 60.32 ladder points. Congratulations!
FLIPAMENT!
EvilGiuGi and AngeL_fH flipped into 4th and 3rd respectively for $19.50 each. Meat luckboxed to 2nd place for $37.50 , and finally ilir3 was the luckiest lucksack of the day flipping in to 1st for $67.50 . Congratulations!
