It's been awhile since we had one of these. I'm going to be the new guy writing it up so here goes nothing We'll have a few extra hands this week because it's been what, a month?
Before getting to that I'd like to announce that we have a new green star among us. Congratulations RainKhan, do us proud.
High-Stakes Hand of the Week
First up we have our very own Straate playing 25/50 around 110bb deep. Villain opens to $150 and Straate repops him to $550 with JJ. The flop comes the unfortunate AT2 rainbow and Straate leads out for $700 into the $1100 pot. The board continues to get worse as the Qc comes out putting two overcards out there and Straate elects to check-call the weak $950 bet from his opponent. The river comes another A, pairing the board. His opponent shoves his remaining $3,524 in and Straate reads his soul, calling the bet and taking the pot down vs his opponents stone cold Kh5h bluff.

Our second high stakes hand of the week involves Cutsss in a heads up 10/20 game. Cutsss opens from the button with pocket 7s and calls a reraise to 250. The flop comes Jx9s8s bringing 3 over cards and a flush draw. Cutsss calls the 426 lead and sees a blank 3 turn and it checks through. The river comes the unfortunate K of diamonds and he faces a pot sized shove and calls despite the 4 overcards on board and wins a nice pot versus his opponent's A3.

Low-Stakes Hand of the Week
For the month we have a whopping five low-stakes hands.
In a $1.5/$3 deep stacked HU game Fayth repops Kjellerup's $10.50 open to $36, only to find himself getting 4bet another $112.50. Fayth just smooth calls the bet. They see a flop of 655 flop and Fayth check raises his opponent's half pot continuation bet. Kjellerup wastes no time getting the rest of his stack in and Fayth makes a daring Ahigh call, finding himself well ahead of the 9Ts he's facing. He sweats too cards and takes down the 400bb pot.

Next up we have our very loveable FrinkX playing a 6handed 2/4 game. Facing an UTG raise and a call he squeezes out of the big blind with 88, getting a call from the cold caller. The flop comes AJ2 rainbow and he makes a c-bet and snaps off his opponents check-raise all in. His opponent turns over 33 and Frink takes down the pot against his opponent's bluff.

In the next hand we see a very impressive read by Jamie217. Papafoxx opens the cut off to $16 and Jamie217 reraises to $42. Papafoxx then 4bets another $63 more and Jamie makes the call. Papa fires the Ts8x3s flop and Jamie, apparently able to see villain's cards shoves for only $173 more, getting a fold with only Qhigh.

The fourth hand we have today is from Muhweli. Seeing a button raise, he cold calls with 99 from the small blind. Seeing a flop of 778 he check-raises the $16 c-bet to $48, followed by calling the 3bet from mad4it109. Aftering seeing a blank turn Muhweli once again check raises all in and his opponent folds getting huge odds. Muhweli wins the pot on a ballsy display of strength.

Our fifth and final hand for this extended HotW once again features Muhweli versus another LPer in nutshot2. Nutshot2 raises UTG and muhweli just smooth calls on the button. A flop of Ts3c5c comes down giving Muhweli 2 overs and a few back door draws. Muhweli raises the $8 bet to $24. Nutshot then reraises to $52, sensing Muhweli has nothing. Muhweli then rebluffs him for only $95 more, getting a fold and taking down a nice sized pot.
