Man attacked after winning a $40,000 pot at casino, destroys the attacker

Things sometimes can get ugly on poker tables after people lose big money - a situation exactly like that happened recently at the New Orleans Harrah’s Casino. However, the outcome quickly changed as the victim became the one with the upper hand.

Whole situation happened after some guy won a Pot Limit Omaha hand worth around $40,000. Suddenly he was attacked by the loser’s friend or guard, but as no security staff were seen to be around - the "victim" fought back. On the video below you can see a punch coming at the man in a red shirt at the table (identified as Jonathan Bloyen) prompting the fight, which quickly breaks out. The result of the fight can be seen below!

Did he hit n run the 40k or something? I mean that aint no 40k in front of him on the table. Also if you completely beat someone's ass does it still count as self-defense? Any chance casino bans them both?

As for the pot, both highstakesdb.com and 2p2 say it was $40k, and I have no way of confirming it further besides paying for a private msg via facebook to the guy.

it's not uncommon for there to be big PLO games in the Southern casinos, especially when the circuit is at that particular casino (which I think it was)
