ChicagoJoey doing a 750 day Twitch.TV poker marathon

Twitch.TV is becoming a really serious business in the world of poker - PokerStars signed the most popular poker streamer, Jason Somerville, and he announced recetnyl that he is going to stream for 70 days straight. And here comes Joe “ChicagoJoey” Ingram, well know posters on our site and recent host of probably the most popular podcasts in the poker world (you can find all his videos on his YouTube channel, under this link)., informing the world that he will stream as well, but for 750 days straight.

“With Twitch going the direction that it is, I want to help get the wonderful game of PLO out there to as many people as I can. I think it is such a fun game and that many others will feel the same about it,” Ingram told poker blog Nutblocker.
“I was motivated to do it because I saw guys like JCarver and Jamie Staples putting in some really sick work ethic when it came to streaming and I pride myself on being one of the sickest grinders in poker when it comes to work ethic .”

With the direction poker streaming is taking it's not really a surprise Joe decided to give it a shot. With his motivation and past success, we can only expect to see some spectacular action - all the best to the guy!

Nice, I know joey has fun doing this and if he can make some bank too that would be sweet. Does twitch pay through an adsense thing like paypal or is the prize a sponsorship?

I like his podcasts very much, but this 750 challenge has been pretty booring so far, i just think it takes focus from making quality content. And afaik no april fools, he started this 1-2 weeks ago already.

You can put up to 30 minutes delay, 5-10 minutes seems like enough anyway.

I don't mean to be a debbie downer but no way he does that for 750 days straight unless its like Khan says and he has days where he streams for 5 minutes

It will be a tough contest between douchebaggery and vanity.

isn't this essentially crazy -EV for him to do, since he'd be narrating his thought process, which I'd say matters way more in this game than a videogame.

I mean, it's his freedom to do this, and if he stays on course and keeps crushing, kudos to him, it's just something that I find a poker player to actively avoid, it's weird.
