Their marketing must have blown and they targeted the wrong money. Already too easy to play on other good sites in the UK. Zynga should have just waited to set up shop in the US |

I don't know what their real money client was like, but their play money software was painfully awful. |

maybe they weren't shady enough. i can imagine in order to set up shop in a country you're going to have to make some dealings with dirty people.
silicon valley isn't exactly the best training ground for going into grey markets - they're smart enough to make money legally, why bother risking their brand by fucking up in an arena that's clearly out of their skillset |

Software is a necessity. Make it smooth and seamless, and us dummies will play.
People can give them flak all they want, fact of the matter is - they have business people better than any of us inexperienced assholes. So, it's easy to talk shit from the sidelines.
Sucks. I want any competition vs stars. |

Oh
I get it now
This is why Stars invested into Play Money, threw money at Facebook App made it legit transfer rates for real cash and made Greenstein and Moneymaker grind playmoney tourneys.
Zynga'smove must have been a driving force behind that |

Oh yeah, they are pros:
"“I think what’s really surprising about the company right now is that they appear to be making the same mistakes. Launching games too quickly, not doing enough consumer research on their games and pushing them out — the same mistakes that [former CEO] Mark Pincus was making when he was leading Zynga.”"

I doubt it's a marketing thing necessarily, if they had a good product people would play there |

It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen | |

Zynga has proven they are a terrible company and by sheer luck and timing made quick gains in popularity, but their overall products blow ass and i would never buy their stock |
