Gus Hansen, despite being officially the player that lost most money in the history of online poker ($20,737,007 up to date to be exactly), can't be denied his passion for poker - he's been playing for years putting in insane volume, both live and online. Now that FullTilt cut Gus and his team mate, Viktor "Isildur1" Blom from their sponsored back in late 2014, Gus isn't seen online often. People started wondering his online career, and he explains few things in a recent interview with Danish website pokernyhederne.com.

Hasen, asked about his career, mentioned that he "feels in no hurry to get back playing online or go play an EPT," however we should see him at both "WSOP in Las Vegas and EPT Monte Carlo". He was also asked about his online appearance, and he mentioned he isn't sure about it, but if he returns, he would rather play lower stakes to improve his game, rather then battle on nose-bleed stakes again.

Gus also comments regarding his break-up with FullTilt: "It's no secret that I had lost, lost and lost a little bit more over a long period of time. Maybe it was also a reasonable time for me to get some breathing space."

it is like Obi Wan going into exile because Darth Negreanu took control of everything

It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen
