According to the Press of Atlantic City, Caesars Interactive Entertainment will apply for an online gaming license in New Jersey. Caesars already owns an online license in Nevada and now is looking to expand.

Caesars also operates four properties in Atlantic City: Harrah’s Resort, Showboat Casino Hotel, Bally’s Atlantic City and Caesars Atlantic City. Because of that, they will likely have an easy time getting the approval from the commission.

Rational Group, the parent company of PokerStars, have also applied for a license. The company is currently on a 90-day period where it's getting investigated by the Division of Gaming Enforcement of Atlantic City. If they are approved by the DGE, Rational will purchase the Atlantic Club Casino Hotel.


Durrrr and Jungleman resume old challenge

Tom 'durrrrr' Dwan and Daniel 'jungleman12' Cates have resumed a heads-up challenge started two years ago. Just a few weeks ago Cates made some complaints about durrrr not resuming the challenge earlier. Back in 2011, Durrr agreed to lay 3-1 odds on $500,000 that he would win the challenge. They are playing 50,000 hands and whoever has the advantage after that will walk away with the money.

So far they have played over 20,000 hands, and jungleman12 has a comfortable lead of $1.1 million over durrrr. The first session after the long break took place on Tuesday, when they played a small 383 hands session that had Dwan as the winner. Both players have been very active in online high stakes lately, so there is a chance they will get things going and finally finish it.
