First poker room from iPoker launches Zoom alike - Bet365 with Sprint Poker
It looks like having a format comparable to original Rush Poker is becoming a standard on online poker market. Just few days ago we reported about the fact that Unibet launched Blitz Poker, and now another poker room, Bet365 from iPoker networks, has informed that their own Sprint Poker has just been aired live.
So far this is the only poker room on the iPoker network to offer fast paced format of Texas Hold'em.
Bet365’s Managing Director of Games, Steve Ibberson, said, “We’re excited by the launch of Sprint and we think that our players will be too,” about the launch of Sprint Poker. Ibberson went on to say, “We want to provide the latest innovations so it’s great to be first into the market with Sprint: it keeps us ahead of the competition. With this format, even if you’ve got the same amount of time to play, you can play more hands and make more decisions; so it’s more intense than normal poker.”
WPT adds two more new stops
The World Poker Tour is adding two new tournament stops to its roster this season.
The $3,500 WPT Emperors Palace Poker Classic in Johannesburg is expected to have a huge impact on the local poker community, as it's the first time tournament of such scale is coming to that place. The event will start on October 22nd.
Second new stop marks the return of WPT to Canada, as WPT Montreal at the Playground Poker Club is coming back with a CAD$3,300 buy-in.
Commenting on the new additions to Season XI’s schedule, Steve Heller, CEO of the WPT, said:
“We are thrilled to be adding two exciting new events to our Season XI schedule. As our first event in the Southern Hemisphere, WPT Emperors Palace Poker Classic is a ground-breaking step into uncharted territory for World Poker Tour, while WPT Montreal marks a long-awaited return to one of the great poker centres in the world.”
