<img src="http://admins.liquidpoker.net/staff/Defrag/AFRIR.jpg" align="right" style="margin:5px; border:1px solid black;">Liquid Poker's sixth Weekly League tournament has just finished and we have a new winner. It's our poster remdyn, from Canada. He defeated Neeriukaas in the heads-up and earned a combined $37 first prize ($15 in cash and a $22 tournament ticket). Neeriukaas got $20 for his runner-up finish. Kingsajz, from Poland, finished in third place and walked away with $17.
With five players left, remdyn was the chip leader with 4.9k chips, followed by Kingsajz who had 3.6k. ItWasDuke, the small stack, moved all-in with with and was called by Kingsajz, who turned up pocket Sixes. The board gave ItWasDuke no help and Kingsajz added some important chips to his stack. Shortly after that, Kingsajz eliminated p9rzemek in 4th place after completing a straight on the river.
Kingsajz held the chip lead for a while, but got crippled when he lost a huge pot against remdyn. It was Queens vs Aces and the board ran in remdyn's favor as no Queen hit the board. On the very next hand, Kingsajz moved all-in and lost the remainder of his chips to remdyn, who had a massive advantage over his opponent Neeriukaas. It was only a matter of time before remdyn could finish Neeriukaas off. In the last hand, remdyn raised from the button and Neeriuskas had to go all in. It was vs . Two Queens fell on the board, which meant remdyn was the champion of our sixth Weekly League Tournament. Congratulations, remdyn. Thank you all for participating. We look forward to seeing you in our next Weekly League Tournament.
As we announced yesterday, we had a few changes concerning our tournaments this weekend. We didn't host one of the $100 freerolls today, but it will be back on next Sunday. Tell your friends about it as it's a nice way to grab some cash and start a small bankroll! We will post all the information about both the freeroll and the next Weekly League tournament on next Saturday.
