Daniel Negreanu has recently started recording video blogs about his life and opinions on stuff related to the poker scene. Yesterday, he uploaded a new video where, among other things, he once again voices off against Howard Lederer, Chris Ferguson and Ray Bitar. It's a ten minute video that is definitely worth watching.

PokerTracker CEO believes compacts will be the future of US online poker
In an interview with PocketFives, PokerTracker’s Steven McLoughlin said that he believes the future of US online poker lies in interstate interaction. When asked about the prospects of a federal bill, McLoughlin answered: "Everyone I spoke with has low hopes for it. Everyone wants a Federal solution, but nobody is banking on it anymore. What the industry is hoping for is a Federal compact solution will be created between states. A compact is an agreement between two states; this is how other interstate gambling is managed such as multi-state lotteries and horseracing. Like it or not, I think compacts will be the future of online poker in the USA." Several American states have shown interest in approving intrastate online poker in recent months.
The interview also covers his view on the current state of the market and whether or not we can see PokerStars service in the US in the future.
Traffic Report
A lot has changed in the poker world since last year. The game's popularity suffered a big loss in April 2011 and seems stagnated since Black Friday. PokerScout.com made a Year over Year traffic report that shows in numbers what's happened with the big and medium rooms over the past year.
Surprisingly, PokerStars lost only 11% in traffic in the past year in spite of not operating in the US anymore. The quick recovery only shows how strong the marketing of the company is. Large poker rooms such as PartyPoker and iPoker Network have obviously gained customers from rooms that closed doors like Full Tilt and the Cereus Network. Merge Gaming stands out among the notable gainers, doubling its traffic from a year earlier. 888Poker and Bodog have also increased their traffic by large numbers.

More like him, ferguson and bitar all should be put in jail. fuck just a kick in the nuts.. they deserve much worse.
That being said, all I really care about is that i'll get my money back sooner or later.

lol yeah. when i was starting out at poker i used to watch a lot of wpt tournaments. i really thought dn was gay the first time i watched him.
