eh... hasn't shown any aggression on the flop ever and he's only repping A8/99/TT or a set, but I don't think he'd bet most of those on the turn?

you know , he could consider your ur bet just a cbet and
raise flop with any over pair or an 8 and since you just call and check turn he continue to fire on turn.
might be a close fold since we lack position plus the info we got for vilain but i hate folding overpairs in such boards:S

Why would he not bet the ranges you suggested on the turn if he's capable of raising it on the flop? Those are still TPTK and overpairs on turn. Do you beat a good portion of his vbet range? Yes. This board is dry, would he really raise sets here, let alone in position? I mean, you haven't given us any stats, but it's hard for him to have two pair here either. It's likely that villain has air here a lot too. Do you beat that with QQ? Yes.

So you beat both of villain's air, and good portion of his vbet range, so should you get the money in? Yes.

villain hadn't raised a flop in 80 hands and was very passive on flop (ptr)
high variance spot imo

80 hands for flop raise is not reliable at all. I'm c/c'ing 100% if I'm not shoving flop.

Learn to appreciate the value of the dollar. The rest is easy. (Hurricane @ TL)
