he limp/calls in position, obv i put him on a standard hand range (suited connectors, pp's, even AXs)

he can assume an ace is a large part of my range

why would he raise with a draw or spew with a pp that misses

--so i thought his large raise might mean weakness and he wanted a fold, but, he is really trying to protect his hand against a hand i can have that might out draw him

i know he doesn't have AA/QQ, he can have 22/A2 or maybe even AQ but not likely

once i eliminate bluffs and semi bluffs from his range, this becomes a clear fold
