This hand annoyed the hell out of me because i was having a bad night when i played it, and i missclicked my pre flop raise. Is there ever a situation where either shove turn or fold river? For the price it seems completely stupid but im pretty terrible so you can never know

Buy in full. As played, shove river yourself.

Thanks for the reply. Why shove river myself? I doubt he's folding anything better or calling with worse than my hand (maybe AsJs calls?) very often. If he has a flush my money's gone anyway because i don't think i'd ever fold, if he doesn't have one maybe he can try to bluff at me hoping i fold a jack. At least, that was my thought process for checking river.

i think that if you believe he won't call without a flush you are giving him too much credit for folding ability. Look at how he played this: he limp-called, then called twice to catch a bluff, and when you give up on a card that clearly didn't give you a medium strength hand to bluff you out of, he goes on to shove it in anyway. So given that you have a set vs. player who does random stuff shove is good imo (ok in fairness you didn't know that at the time, but you should probably give these guys less credit a priori. Also limp-calling is a sign that he is a weak player who likes to call).

also what do you mean you misclicked preflop raise? do you mean you meant to make 0.12 or 0.10 and by accident only raised to 0.08? You have a great starting hand vs two limpers, you should definitely raise this preflop even if you are OOP.

If you're trolling, this guy is new and he might think you're being serious. He's not folding anything for another $.35 but he's checking back a lot of stuff, so you should just jam the river.

Dude you some social darwinist ideas that they are giving hitlers ghost a boner - Baal

dude the pot is huge compared to what he has left, it's absurd that he even tried to bluff (?), he's calling with a ton of hands that will gladly check back the river vs your line

new shit has come to light... a-and... shit! man...

With double FDs out and that board you can actually /definitely overbet turn ai, it will be a small overbet

traxamillion   United States. Feb 06 2016 02:24. Posts 10468

There will be literally no difference in this fish's turn calling range between the size you chose and ai
