no one calls here with worse than your hand on river for that sizing so you probably need to ask different question to understand this spot

River seems to be a c/f vs anyone even semi competent?

You keep mentioning betting smaller on boards that favor our range but its not necessary when playing vs weaker opponents who don't take advantage by re raising flops light.

I much prefer to protect my entire range and get them to call with worse for more money.

snap river if you bet it. He has a reggish name and this runout is actually terrible for your range; bad for you unless you managed to flop a boat. It is a pretty ez bluff for villain once you bet river.

like andrewsong mentioned in the big QJ river bluff hand of Midian's a lot of autopiloting regs make the mistake of vbetting too thin in a lot of spots. GTO might say to 3ball this but i feel like in practice people are folding 88/99 here not calling 3 streets. Villain also connects with a boatload of hands that aren't even in your range so ur beat a lot here too
