would you ever click back turn?

It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen

if we were deeper yeah hes like 80/60 or something mad- think he'll shove or at least bet river a ton tho as is. I was considering it tho
I'm surprised you guys don't give me flak for limp calling preflop - seemed like a viable option here this deep tho

If you do it then dont do it with a hand as weak as J8s.
Almost all suited connectors and 1 gapers play much better postflop than J8s.

Misclick pre or using a limping strategy?

limp was on purpose here
don't think I wanna raise this and face a 3bet some 30% of the time from the dude oop? I'm not really stealing the blinds when I raise either ever, so raising didn't make much sense but I should be able to make a limp +ev here?

How often do you estimate your limp will be raised here?

edit: not sure how I missed the explanation of limp before my first comment

ehhh i don't like the limp pre. not with this hand anyways. we aren't going to be winning money even vs a maniac OOP. folding seems best.

surprised you didn't fold river

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

Once you checked river was he value-betting hoping you caught your Qc and were gonna bluff catch his missed draw? I can't see him bluffing.

I'm confused.

+1

I have learned from poker that being at the table is not a grind, the grind is living and poker is how I pass the time

May I know why ? It's so confusing for me... I mean given the action so far there was no way this queen helped him except AQ ? Or were you thinking about 8Q ?
All those lines were simply retarded, I'd have called it all day.

Shin-il : Yeah it was very very very good for me too. Rekrul : YOU MOTHER FUCKING FUCKING SON OF A BITCH

well RaiZ i'm not an expert but this is how i understand it: because here he only beats something like 67hh 22 AJ that was turned into a bluff. min3bet OTT is 95% the nuts regardless of opponent, like here villain is 80/60 which means in the later streets he has to be extremely nutty compared to earlier streets and lemon shouldn't expect him to shove river with less than trips for value. not everyone is good enough to lay it down but in this case 87 77 AA QQ all filled up, Q8,K8,A8 always dominated him so he is calling to split vs J8,T8,98, and he blocks J8 anyway so we would expect lemon to fold here 95% of the time for balance

He's not thinking in terms of value bets versus bluffs. He's just a fish with a pair of aces piling it in.
