As part of my goal to frankly play a little less volume and spend a little more time studying/improving. I'm posting more hands like this, ones I feel I've butchered.

Vaga is the 3-better so obviously AAxx is a decent part of his range and will probably bet when checked to, however, the second the other guy calls I've probably got to be in auto-fold territory. Sure I beat a weaker 10xxx hand sometimes, and I suck out sometimes, but by shoving I'm actually forcing out the AAxx guy when he doesn't have AA10x so this seems probably the worst possible way i could play it.

So what do we think of Flat vs. just outright fold. Frankly it seems like this is just a straightforward fold given the way the hand plays out.

When you're getting pretty much direct pot odds to see a turn to boat up it's probably not a good idea to even consider folding.

Maybe you should pick up a book that explains the first basics of pot odds. Maybe that Sklansky book.

You are right that your hand is far from the nuts, but its still strong enough to stack off here vs some unknown random stack taking s weird line that, sure, could be a better 10 but could just as well be kk from a fish

Hm.. Off-suite socks..

Why would he ever have KKxx here?

The guy betting isn't the guy who 3-bet. He flatted flop vs. the 3-bettors c-bet and then shoved turn. I think it's very very very likely he's got a T here almost always. Even if it's still fine to call off (we boat sometimes, we have a better T sometimes).

I'll post at the end of December. I'm basically breakeven after RB. I've not taken enough time to study, was too focused on chasing Supernova and putting in volume. Now that the initial volume binge has died off, I'm more focused on playing 1500 or so hands a day and studying after every session. As I have many leaks and I suck shit.
