I often don't like these spots much, but I guess there isn't much merit to flatting here.

Shoving flop we basically do fine vs. their entire range - but vs 2p or a set we're stacking badly. Folding flop lets shared draws destroy us, as does maybe flatting and having them fold us out. There aren't really any "scare cards" that don't actually make our hand so its not like there will be a ton of opportunities to bluff turn - especially because usually when someone raises like this they're basically going with it 90%+ of the time.

So I guess it comes down to shove or fold flop. I think on a flop this dry my bet sizing needs to be 1/2 pot at most. Just makes more sense. Although I want that to be consistent with my value-bets so I suppose I'm better off with 3/4 to 4/5th's here as that's obviously what I'm doing with JJxx AKQJ etc type hands. Then again, maybe it's a mistake to be betting so hard on dry boards with those hands in the first place. After looking at this hand I'm thinking probably yes. If I do it all 1/2 pot with those hands and my draws I'm maybe doing better for myself overall. Hmmph.

call > shove.

he rarely has similar draw, is probably raise/folding close to 0%, you can fold on J/6, and he will always pay you off when you hit.
