I am Bejamin1. I don't actually know my password and never associated an e-mail to my account so I can't reply with that until I get home.

Let me preface this with a simple apology. I realize it is annoying to others on the forum that I constantly post hands, but in my defense its not like a lot of discussion worthy hands are posted here regardless. Mostly people just post big pots where they won or lost and all are fairly straightforward. Secondly, I don't see you threatening Raszi who posts just as many beats.

Nobody has to click on my hands or read them. If it bothers you so much, don't click on them? I know that's a struggle for some of you super geniuses out there. I've said multiple times I'd rather post a hand on the internet and rage a few funny-ish statements than spew on the tables. This is my intention when I post them. Most of the time the comments are SARCASTIC in nature.

That being said, I'm aware others also run bad. I'm aware it's not special. I'm aware that I need to work on not caring so much about it. However, this is a difficult emotional skill to master for me. I'm used to having control of the outcome and success is just a matter of will and hard work. With poker, this isn't always the case.

I don't even care if all of you are cheering for me to lose. I'll just keep focusing on what I can control, keep getting it in good, and keep working on the billion leaks I have in my newbie level skills. I'm not an arrogant loser like CasinoCasino here who thinks he's a boss because he plays PLO50 and runs sweet (yeah my sample vs. you this month is hilarious you're a real pro getting it in bad on the regular bud).

Anyways, that said I'll try to post less bad beat hands. I'm aware they aren't interesting. I just post them because frankly the bloody forum is dead anyways. Like really Daut, other than moaning on my hand histories what have you contributed to this forum in the last little while actually poker related? Not trying to be a D*** just pointing out that pretty much nobody even talks poker on here so at least someone is posting hands. Even if they're boring ones. And at least you get to make fun of me and you all have something to do lol.

Twisted    Netherlands. Oct 28 2014 12:00. Posts 10422

I don't think anyone cares about you posting bad beats, but it's the incessant whining afterwards. Might be sarcastic or whatever you want to call it, but that's probably what ticks most people off. I don't really care either way, just thought Daut's reaction was hilarious and over the top because it came out of nowhere.

RunGoodMan   Canada. Oct 28 2014 12:04. Posts 16

But like I said, nobody is forcing anyone to read them haha, although I'll try to reduce the number of comments I guess? I mean usually I'm trying to come up with some hilarious image of the villain getting pegged by Lee Jones wearing a wig or something because that brings me some comic relief during the darker swongs of PLO, but yes I see how its annoying to others.

what grinds my gears is that the hands are flooded so I can't see other people's interesting hands because it is already out of the homepage. Just bunch them up into one giant hand history, post the hands privately, and organize them in the comments. I only wanna see one hand post from you every day, you can flood the shit out of the comments

no pain no gain

Santafairy   Korea (South). Oct 28 2014 12:29. Posts 2224

^this is maybe the only thing and it applies to a lot of us who post hands. some hands like bad beats don't really generate discussion so it's cleaner to keep them in one thread. there's other hands like lemon actually asking a question about a marginal situation that makes 20+ replies

i am not cheering for you to lose i like looking at hands from PLO players sometimes because i don't know shit about that game and i would never be annoyed by whatever you post in the comments of your own hand like cursing at the air or something. i mean why would it bother me i wasn't in the hand it's not my money

Daut    United States. Oct 28 2014 12:35. Posts 8955

the reason i never said anything is because nobody is forced to read the hands, but its not like a blogpost. the hands section is flooded every day with you whining and bitching about your luck in $50-$100 pots when half the site plays PLO and goes on 40 buyin under EV runs monthly. the last thing anyone wants to see is your negative comments constantly. this is a site with content on various ways to improve at poker, inundating the HH section with whine posts does not help yourself or anyone else in that regard.

and you post funny pictures less frequently than you think....

low content bad beats sometimes = completely fine
low content bad beats all the time = annoying but whatever
low content bad beats all the time with complaining comments afterwards = too much

GOLD, haha

I agree with twisted. I think when others see the 1+ after a hand they expect to see a discussion or interesting comment but people don't expect that from your hands anymore unless there's 10+ and even then 30% of the time it's due to complaints over whining.

another set of comments from a few days prior and one comment that isnt a whine. i could do this many times over for strings of posts.

you basically have a forum full of PLO professional players that play higher than you with bigger swings that sometimes post advice on hands like raszi/mipwnya/twisted/jinro etc, and instead of asking for advice you post bad beats and whine which only alienate you from them.

That is true, but like I said, the comments are mostly in jest - not meant to be taken seriously. And realistically still nobody has to read them. But I can try to limit them to more funny quips .

I find you annoying. you mentioned you will post hands you butchered/ miss played/ interesting for discussion, but the hands (like this one http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/1043943 ) which you completely butchered every single playable street are ignored. So you are biased in the hands you post and your tone is that of an annoying whinyass bitch on both the forum and during in game when you get outplayed.

Simply saying, its a understatement that the reaction you get here is deserved.

RunGoodMan   Canada. Oct 28 2014 14:08. Posts 16

Roflmao, you continually repost this ONE hand. Obsessing over it. It was obviously not played perfectly, but realistically I went for a C/R on the flop (missed), then correctly called your equity-laden raise (although could have shoved) with the intention of calling any river.

And FYI the reason I went for the C/R is because you have a massively high C-bet percentage, meanwhile based on my database you have some pretty terrible leaks. Don't worry though, I'll post a hand you've butchered tonight since you seem to think this matters on some large level. I'm sure I can find ten for you fairly quickly. Everyone misplays hands. The point is to not be ashamed of them and keep wanting to learn and keep thinking outside of the box not always playing "X" line exaclty the same way vs. everyone the way you do lol.

Its obvious what your intention was, you just made a horrible play preflop, a bad check on the flop, a bad bet on the turn and a horrible call on the river, butchering every street.

Go ahead post all the hands that you wish ( I don't understand your point tho? unless you are just mad at me), I am just trying to literate a point that you have a selective bias toward the hands you post and that you complain both in game and on the forums when you lose. So you are hypocritical by calling me a arrogant loser.

RunGoodMan   Canada. Oct 28 2014 14:53. Posts 16

I post plenty of hands lol, christ I'm not going to go trolling through my database to post every single hand that is misplayed or whatever. In case you didn't notice, the other day I posted my most embarrassing hand of the month - you know where I shoved misreading my hand as QJ for a 250$ pot where I had 20% (and pure luck that I even had that much) because I thought I had top two lol. Everyone has some selective bias. Unless you want me to post 4000 hands a day lol

RunGoodMan   Canada. Oct 28 2014 14:55. Posts 16

And frankly, the intention of your post was obvious, you meant for it to be obnoxious. And hell yeah we will play HU at PLO50. We'll do it for a cap of 10 buy-ins, and we'll do it once I feel my game is sharp enough. Like I said, I'm still a newb, but absolutely I'm down to take him on at a future date. For the entertainment of all.

casinocasino   Canada. Oct 28 2014 15:11. Posts 3343

Well I won't lie, I was not trying to be delightful.

In regards to the challenge I must decline, I don't play for the entertainment of others. Also the rake at PLO50 HU is much higher then the games we play and simply not worth my time. I will however accept a challenge to play at higher stakes when your game is sharp enough.

Funny you call him out for having so many leaks, then you back out from the challenge "till your game feels sharp enough".

Also you could play with play money and just make the calculus on paper for how many bigs one lost/won and later transfer the amount to the other. Or have an escrow for the said 10 BIs. Thus no rake, only the challenge.

Santafairy   Korea (South). Oct 28 2014 16:39. Posts 2224

yeah wtf aren't there private ways to play poker with no rake?

I just started playing PLO50 and have little experience playing HU. It would be pretty disrespectful of me to my coach and current semi-backer to randomly go play HU. Once I have established a solid BR at this stake fine. Also I don't see you calling him out on refusing to play PLO50 for pretty petty reasons lol.
