It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus HansenLast edit: 28/09/2014 16:27

extremely easy shove

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

don't you think he built a very big pot with extremely vulnerable hand?

thus the decision is hard

You can probably c/f here... most hands got there and these passive fish don't bluff with made hands very often. I can see him checking back a hand like K7 or QJ.

C/c we get value from all his bluffs like AT/AQ maybe some 1 pair type hand that he realizes is no good, or just some spaz shoves

Shoving is whatever, he sometimes calls weaker, sometimes he folds, it stops him from bluffing us off our hands. We only need him to fold on the river around 37% of the time for us to breakeven, not including the times he calls and loses.

I still struggle in these spots as well, usually I just ship it in and lose or c/f.
