I suppose my 4-bet is certainly not always great here. Against a more competent opponent its probably outright bad. The double-pair for set equity I suppose is nice, small straight equity by a tiny margin, at least one suit. Not the worst and I am getting almost 25% of my stack in pre which is close to the magic number to shove any flop hmmm....

The swings in omaha tilt me to no end.

60/40's like this are extremely common. Not 4-betting here is one way to avoid being in spots like that all the time. That's why I question how much I'm gaining by making my hand very transparent here with 48$ still behind and him covering. The truth is this is one of the best flops I can get. Really unlikely to have slammed villain hard. Very likely I'm ahead. On tougher flops (which most will be) this becomes a lot harder to gauge and a lot easier to make a huge mistake for 2.5 stacks.

fuck dat ez 4 bet. spots like this is why PLO is stupid game ;D

also vs a wide 3bettor like this open up your 4 betting with good double sooted rundowns. good sooted mid/high double pairs + etc.

it will pwn him

eZ Life.

hahaha I enjoy the phrase "open up" combined with "good double suited rundown" which is like... 1-2% of hands dealt haha
