folding and betting larger on every street

if poker is dangerous to them i would rank sports betting as a Kodiak grizzly bear who smells blood after you just threw a javelin into his cub - RaiNKhAN

How many 9x does he really have here?

Bet bigger on flop cause their range is pretty inelastic, bet bigger on turn cause both called. Ace, heart, seven all kill ur action or cooler you.

we know nothing about this guy btw

you can either 3bet a little larger due to stack depth pre. 2.75 is small but ok, but you're less comfortable stacking post and so are they
3 way, draw heavy flop i'm betting heavier as standard bar insanely bloated pot-stack ratio, usually around 3/4 in 3bet pots.. dislike this 1/2 pot stuff in this spot

tons of spazzed 2pairs, pair+fldraw turn/rivered into 2pair, bizarre stuff like sets even AA if he's whacko

he can have some bluffs too but mostly i dont care when i play a hand this shit

turn needs a big bet cuz theres so many cards that kill ur action and u need money in NOW and ur obv repping a strong part of your range 2 barreling a drawy board 3-way in a 3bet pot anyways

I'd go with:
3.5$ pre
75% flop
shove turn
assuming players d play their hands the same way, dont know how many hands you got on royal but if they re more than 20 you should know he doesn't like folding so there s no reason not to bet huge. And convex should be calling wider than usual if he s a reg given the circumstances

yeah I don't mind an overbet shove OTT really
just betting 75% OTT to leave 30% on the river is just super weird

i think you should be 3betting less preflop and betting even smaller on every street because why not...

+1 to betting bigger on every street and folding river.

yeah flop and turn bets are grossly under-betted, the wider range of hands you can get called with, the larger you can bet. River I'm folding since I'm assuming that I'm running into straights and cleverly value betted two pair+ most of the time and typical villain is not bluffing enough here to make this a reasonable call.

Not that I disagree with shoving turn, but I wouldn't do it because leaving a small amount on the river is super weird. You get more calls from something like 67(anything in the bottom to mid pair plus gutshot range), or something like 99 or 77. When I do this, I've already decided what rivers I'm folding on if shoved into. This is made significantly easier by the fact that almost everything that didn't hit a straight still has 2 pair or a set.

Plus, I always think back to how often, especially as I was improving and relatively competent, but still wasn't constantly aware of what stack sizes and such were going to look like on the river. In my mind, it takes some time before people start thinking about that, most people focus on the board, their hand, the pot, and the bet. Additional factors only get added as we are taught, study or are beaten over the head with it. What's this all mean?

Have you ever faced somebody who just shoved for like 1/5 pot on the river and you're just mutter, "god damnit" because you didn't realize there would be so little left? Or 1/4 pot, or 1/5 pot..something you have a difficult time rationalizing a fold because you're "priced in".

Bad players have that thought waaaaay more than you. So I kind of like leaving 30% on the river. I like creating that "oh, goddamnit" feeling in the minds of the people I'm playing.
