make the 4bet a bit more pre. he can't really fold any hand to that sizing (as in, folding is more -ev than calling for almost any 2)

Folding is always 0ev so the call would then be +ev if it truly is the better play although this obviously does not mean the play as a whole is necessarily +ev

pre villain's got 3:11 pot odds with 14 behind to see a flop... 86s seems a pretty easy call. only hands i'd fold are complete 3bet bluffs like A7o if i'm even 3betting that.

i guess suited connectors are pretty much the nuts vs exactly AA; it might be -ev for hands like A3s to call the $3 but even then i imagine it's close

MSSers usually don't call 4bets no matter how small they are so the idea is fine preflop to induce a re-shove

still you leave PSB on flop - I'd make it a bit bigger so he's more inclined to stack off there when he hits garbage, leaving the incentive to 5b light

i probably flat the 3bet unless this is like his first 3bet in 20 hands or something making it more likely he's going with it pre.

Meh I dunno about that, MSS 3b shove pocket pairs quite a bit in these spots
