is this a joke ? do you squeeze and fold AKo in BB vs BTN by default ? there are better hands to do it as a bluff. Or did you deviate from your standard play based on 23 hand sample that is neglectable and tells you absolutely nothing ?

Is it super standard to get it in here vs unknown about appears to be a nit BTN vs BB at 10NL? I guess the more I look it over the more it doesn't feel super bad to 5bet shove

how does he appears to be nit ? That he didin't 3bet in 4 orbits that he is on table with you ? your sample on the guy is 23 hands, and you didn't even include the relevant stat that should affect your decision which is 4bet. He could be a maniac and you couldn't tell it, because you can't make assumptions like that based on such small samples. You should have some default gameplan with 3betting and 5betting ranges in blinds vs BTN and all other positions and 3b/folding this hand is unjustifiable just beacause you had a gut feeling he is nitty. You would need at least 5k hands on the guy to have a somewhat relevant 4b stat to decide if you should make some different play. If you are playing and making decisions based on 50 hands samples on guys where the values your hud shows you are 0%, 33% , 50% or 100%, you are nowhere near the real numbers and you are just overadjusting and not focusing on correct play.

^what he says.
Squeeze pre vs unknown btn vs bb with AK and 5bet jam over 4bet feeling happy is standard 100 bb deep, you probably folded to a guy who had A10 or KJ (who prob also felt awesome about how great the concept of blockers is)

new shit has come to light... a-and... shit! man...

3betting ak vs an uber nit then folding to a 4bet is bad. if youre taking that line flatting pre with ak is better I think.

this, nits love 4betting KQs because they can't play postflop

the guy is 18/15 over 23 hands, even if he was 8/5 you still couldn't be sure he is nitty anyway. Also, even if he actually plays 18/15 he could be opening 50%+ from the button and/or 4betting a ton vs 3bets from steal positions.
This is a classic example of using the hud in the wrong way

You were ahead. Or you weren't. Or it was a split. Or it wasn't.
