i don't get the turn check... i'd be shoving my whole preflop 4bet range there

I thought he is shoving his floats and Qx, I guess he wanted to chk back a 3 thinking he is good? no idea why he did most of the actions he did tbh

new shit has come to light... a-and... shit! man...

so you'd shove turn with AKo/AJo/KQo/KJ A10 here btw? assuming some of those is what you 4bet pre
seems spewy
(I had no idea he could have any pair/any draw here)

i'm shoving AK/AT for sure, cking and facing a shove would be pretty gross given the odds

i figure if i have at least 1 over and a gutter i want to be shoving rather than facing a 3/4 pot shove and then probably having to fold (pretty sure he shoves most pairs on turn when checked to, i'm surprised he checked back his hand)

AJ KQ KJ i'd play pretty similarly to AA in that i'm never folding to a turn shove... i guess i'm including these hands into my shoving range for balance with my AK/AT type hands, since i can't only shove my airs and check my pairs

the question should be how do we get him to put in the rest of his money with hands that cant call off imo, and there isnt really that many hands that would call turn and not call river assuming brick riv

the check's fine of course if he can have bullshit like this right?
Like more normal people have shitloads of QX JX...broadways that hit the board and can slow down and we rep more bluffs on the turn than river so there should be more value.
But I mean if he can have 35 lol ;p

93% Sure!

iono, if we jam the turn he needs 30% equity to call, so he can't really fold any pair. I think his turn calling rage is wider than his river calling range by a lot, and that the reason to check would be to induce bluffs, which is very unlikely on this board texture.

given a standard/tightish 4bet pre range, if we're going to have a checking range on the turn, it's gonna only consist of hands we're going with. (we're not checking AK are we?)
if we're 4betting wide with stuff like suited connectors that have zero equity this board then a (polarized) checking range is good. or we could bet something like 11. idk

the hands played ok but its obv a. ur on the nuts on the riv or nothing and nuts outweighs it soooo much. and b. u can still get a ton of fish to stack off w/ 99+ on turn so jam there it looks more bluffy.
