would you mind giving a bit more detail on the bet/call flop line? He seemed pretty strong with the 4 bet, and suddenly checks. If I bet instead of jam, wouldn't he try to bluff shove me and I would fold out the jacks?

I guess I am hoping 10s to call and hoping Kings and Aces to fold?

you bet small to get worse to shove that might fold to a shove. like if he has AK and makes a bad read or if he has a smaller pair he might jam in but may fold to a shove. both of these are unlikely, but every little bit helps. so betting small and calling is clearly better than betting large.
