3bet bigger preflop, I would to .26 (3x.06) +1bb+caller).

Don't bet this flop 3-way with air, only HU. They hit this flop quite often.

Thanks

About the flop, why do they hit it? Hitting trips is pretty unusual and other than that what can they have? Do you call 3bets that high with 1 person to come or in a multiway pot with hands like 89s?

New player, advice appreciated

Any hand with a 34567 might call you(or raise), lots of pocket pairs like 77 and 99 up to QQ, flush draws; and they might bluff you.

In multiway pots it's better to play more straightforward in general.

Yeah okay, the more I look at this hand the more I think about checking flop. Getting the feeling I'm checking away a lot of strength but in multiway it's not as important I guess

Do you use equity programs? Google equilab.

AK is a very weak hand on this board against 2 players(one who is a shortstack and probably a fish, so very loose). Your outs are dirty, and you have big reverse implied odds(you hit your ace, he hits 2 pair. you hit your ace, but he flopped a set/straight and slowplayed you).

Yes, using equilab too. Thanks for the insight, will reread this hand thread 10/10
