Heh, banned myself from table games because that shit be my kryptonite. I'm not mega degen but I know I was on the path to the dark side. Banned myself for 90 days and not going dabble in black jack/ pai gow until summer. I would sometimes go to pai gow or black jack after a losing session from my live pokers and be like in fuck it mode, probably resulted in an increase loss of a couple thousand or a tad more. I just want to make sure I don't mix too much play at where I "work" for my monies.
Has anyone else ever done something like this?

First time I won a tournament in Vegas (Venetian deep stack) I punted it all back into the pit over the course if the next few weeks. Also used to have post poker pit sessions somewhat frequently. The way I got it under control was to stop mixing poker and pit gamble. The poker mindset is awful for bj/pai gow. |

I used to do this kind of thing all the time except not with pit games.. I would play high stakes to get even. Same type of tilt. My advice is to never play black jack or pai gow again. Otherwise you will just have the same issues when you resume in the summer. |

Why not just ban yourself for life?
There's like no upside to playing these games... Although I guess I don't have the right type of personality to understand the appeal, so maybe people with a different personality get something out of it. It just seems like a waste of money to me tho.
I mean blackjack if you can count is different obviously. |

well playing -EV casino games is kinda like cigarettes, you know its bad for you yet u still do it. Get your mental strength together and finish off with that shit. It might be an illness which should be treated before it gets worse. Banning yourself was a great first step tho |
