Recently there has been this guy, must be late 20's or early 30's in age, that has been coming to my casino. Seen him like 4 or 5 times and he's literally the nut worst player I've ever seen, and he behaves in a way that might make you question whether he was mentally handicap or not. He would literally ask for help taking chips out of the rack, stacking up the chips, and needed to be told 3 or 4 times each time there was a bet and the action was on him. The way he was playing was limping every single hand, not folding to any raise, and then donk betting every street for some small amount. If you raised him at any point post flop he was 3 bet bluff raise another 100 almost every time and you can literally stack this guy with any top pair. He would has bet big quite often as a pure bluff.

Took so much money from this dude.

Thank the gods for live poker.

About a year ago was playing some 1/3 at Cesear's Palace in Las Vegas. It was my first trip out there on my own and I was just looking to get away from life for a week and hang around. I'm playing at a table sitting in seat 9 with some friendly talkative players on my right and having a fantastic time. I've got maybe like 500 or more in front of me. Other side of the table has this really fat, drunk guy from Texas that kept slurring his words. You could barely understand a word this guy said. He'd just ramble. I'd look to the guy on my right and be like "did you understand a word he just said" and he'd respond "I ain't got a fucking clue". We'd just keep drinking and laugh it up whenever that guy talked.

Well anyway I get in a hand with Mr. Texas over there. He raises pre like $15 and I got AdTd on the button. Casually I just call. Flop comes J 4 2 with 2 diamonds. He leads like 25 I just call. Turn K no diamond. He makes it like 50 I call. River Q I hit the straight no flush. He makes it like 75 and I'm like awwwww yeah guess I gotta go all in. I proceed to shove and he goes on some rant I can't understand a god damn word this guy says. He ends up calling and shows J9o. I'm like wtf. So I take like 500-600 off this guy.

Texas over here is pissed off now. He's throwin a rager on the table and hitting stuff, on top of the fact that again you can't understand a single word that is coming out of his mouth. I've got like 1200 in front of me by now and I'm feeling like a boss. I never had that big of a stack before at a poker table. The drinks keep a coming and now I'm like maybe it's time for an hour massage. I ask the floor guy to get a massage therapist in for me and she comes promptly.

While this lady is just rubbing all over my neck and reaching down my back (and boy did it feel good), Texas is staring me down angrily and spouting god knows what out of his mouth. We get in another hand together. I don't remember the details on that one but I know I took off like another 200-300 from him. He pretty much snapped right there. He gets up and starts rage spouting at me, saying things like "man this bastard over here is getting massaged with mah money. That woman should be giving me a blowjob right now.", again spoken with heavily drunken southern accent. Well the dealer thought that was pushing it a little too far so he called the floor guy over. Guess Mr. Texas went a little too crazy and the floor actually racked up his chips and made him leave the poker room for the day. Guys on my right are giving me high fives and laughing their asses off. I'm like "man idk I'm just trying to have a great vacation you know".

Yeah that was fun...

you should be humble and super nice to this person for ev and human reasons.

Brag about the cocky regs and old geezers who act like they own the room, not the fish :/

So there was a Chinese student, around 21 who was coming into my local casino when I was at university often and pretty much just donating. He was trying but just really couldn't fold at any point. For example I flopped a Q high flush (in holdem) on like T742Q and get 3 full streets incl river shove from KT(300 bb each 5 ways to flop). Anyway, he would lose with grace, buyin pretty deep, playing 95% of hands and always tap the table and say 'nice nice' when he lost, and rebuy pretty often but leave when he'd lost as much as he wanted to so pretty perfect, clearly had plenty of money.

Anyway, so we're playing plo and he decides to come and play plo for the first time, buying in with £1200 at a £5/£5 game. He, then on his second hand peels and the flop is J35r and I have JJ67, I check raise the bettor on the flop as he bets 20% pot and has already received 2 calls and this chinese guy cold 3 bet pot/calls the flop. We get it in and the board runs out 4 2.

After I turn my hand over and say nuts, he studies my cards for about 5 seconds and happily announces "Straight, Ten Jack Queen King Ace" while pointing to his card and the board when he was saying the cards out loud smiling happily, the dealer had to explain very politely that he has to use only 2 cards from his hand etc and he and we suggested that he's better off over on the hold'em game in future. To be honest we all felt awful, I couldn't bring myself to give him any money back though.. Probably should have but not many people would imho. He took it fine, and just went home, he was back in the next day or the day after anway.

Edit: He was a little shellshocked though.

What? Purpose of this thread is not to bash people but just to talk about experiences where the money was literally falling from the sky.

Most of us feel bad when people who seem genuinely nice lose big pots, but I don't think it's good to give some money back even if the person had no clue about the rules of the game. It would definitely seem like a pity donation and might make the person feel worst/embarrassed. Whenever a fish is losing super badly i like to start limping in position (take a break from constant raising to isolate) and maybe making a super loose call or two on the river, donating a super small pot or two just so the person doesn't feel completely demoralized.

yeah a give money back situation would be like guy mucks winning hand by accident or smth? not this

also i didn't even understand the story right the first time i didn't understand he tried to say he flopped a broadway straight i thought he was saying he runner runnered a wheel

It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen

Aaaah, yea I guess thats not obvious at first santafairy, remembered word for word how it went down on the river and edited that paragraph to make it more clear, I turned my hand over and was like, nut straight or w/e and after studying my hand briefly, he turned his hand over proudly and said "Straight, Ten, Jack Queen King Ace," pointing to his jack and the board when announcing that particular card, smiling happily, it was particularly brutal.
