Anyone into it? 50% of the worlds fish are already from farms. Fact. Been to malaysia 2 months ago for some training and i might go to vietnam this summer also. Its good to be this obssessed about learning something which i can make money out of in the long term without worry of trends making it dated etc. Its food and basically healthier than factory meat and poultry. Fish farms can be organic and factory based at the same time unlike food inc bullshit.

Lost a bit of weight since buying a treadmill and borrowing my bro in laws bowflex clone, still I'm just almost at my first month using it for jogging/brisk walking for just 30 mins a day. might see a real improvement in the coming months if I dont start to get lazy and do this for health and not purely aesthetic reasons.
My stock trading is shit now(even in the bull market here) and it is only because of discipline mostly, so I've decided that it takes too much of my time and I can trade profitably as long as I don't do it as my primary source of income and switch to investing instead.
I'm also doing a lot of research on aquaponics, seems like a pretty enjoyable and fulfulling hobby if you have a neat working setup at home, I'm also even thinking of going smallish commercial scale once I learn to do it right someday.
Lastly, what do you guys think of the artificial sweetener plant called "stevia"? I know its somewhat the rage in hippie organic culture but I'm not sure if the taste is good or better than splenda or aspartame. I'm also looking into to this but the department of agriculture here is still at the test plant stage and theyre not sure about the % of purity for it to be export grade so I'll just have to wait for it. Might be good to plant in other countries doesnt necessarily follow itll grow well here.

So after my first 8 months of on and off trading, I learned this so far.

Basically it's a lot of propaganda and self fulfulling prophecies for chart technicians, very similar to passing the ball and whoever has it last is usually "it". Being a noob like me it's always tough to identify which is which so I keep acting on impulse and making bad trades with no exit plan resulting in a lot of commissions, fees and taxes being paid - basically all my losses so far is the "rake" haha
*Candlesticks - Identifying sentiment day to day
*MACD - for entry and exit points, also identifying trends(bullish, bearish, sideways)
*RSI - have an idea where support/resistance are (if a stock is overbought or oversold)
*Read SEC disclosures - Basically drives market sentiment
*News - usually late and fabricated(by some entity with an agenda etc) helps at times esp articles
*Forums are for bashing and hyping lol
Still need to learn position sizing and portfolio management, lot to learn and will start real learning in 2013. So much info and reading material out there with no real mentor I had to sift through this clusterfuck of information all by myself.
