December and live playing

December has been a completely gaylord month pokerwise and I'm break even. Normally I play 40k-45k hands per month but I kind of got fed up and lost motivation halfway into the month. Doesn't help that I bought a PS3 and all kinds of games/blu-ray discs with FPPs since it just drags me even further away from the sessions. It's pretty fun but not really a good investment pokerwise. December ...

I permanently moved up from 50nl to 100nl during the weekend so I have been playing it for a few days now. Results have been very pleasing so far. One of my goals for November was to have a +$2k month, and that looked really improbable with the start of the month. I don't know why but at the beginning of the month I always run super bad plus I always find the need to spew money everywhere with ...

Well I just finished playing a monster 6 hour session 6 tabling. I haven't played that long of a session/day in sooo long because I've just been slacking off. Well it started good and then went to hell. The first decent part you see is the first session (I played 2). The rest of it which is an erratic spaztic cock...

100NL revisited

Well I started playing 100nl with a big fat roll and I just played a ~3 hour session. Of course I run super fantastic whenever I move up so I got insta ass-raped at the beginning and lost like 2 BI (I had made 3BI at 50nl earlier today) so I was down like -$50 for the day. But I stuck with it and grinded it out. The regs are definitely a lot different here than at 50nl. They're a lot more a...

fckin November has raped me all over the place. Start off with the sickest downswing which is the biggest ownage I've ever received in 2 days. I start to get myself back on my feet and rofl, ya story of the month: lead him to believe he's gonna pull through and once he's feeling a bit comfortable again pull that rug from under his feet! out flopped out turned out rivered out everythinged rin...

I took a +/- one week break from poker. Played 2 sessions this month, around 700 hands in total. Result - brutal downswing. It's that time of month. I seem to run like absolute dog shit at the beginning of every month. But I guess it's also in part due to sub-optimal playing.

Was a bit discouraging but I plan to grind it out and focus on playing super good. Aiming to make 2K+ this month.

Played some 100NL today after 2 days of no poker (besides playing a 100K tourney yesterday which I busted in 20mins lol. donkaments). First prize was 16k, would have been nice *drool*. Anyways got 200VPPs this session, I need to win 2100 more before the end of the month in order to make Platinum Star (VIP rank). It's going to be quite doable at 100NL and somewhat tough to make at 50NL.

Hope...

So I've been trying to get away from my standard weak/tight standard ABC game. I had a session today where I was experimenting with being more aggressive (my aggression is usually too low on the turn and river, and high on the flop). Here is the graph:

I made a 40min video today because I'm getting audio commentary done on it on ballerpoker.com. It currently has no audio but if anyone would want to check it out or critique it that would be awesome.

As you can see I mainly play standard ABC (which is pretty weak tight, I want to fix the weakness) and am pretty tight preflop. I sometimes find it hard to decide when to take a stand vs whe...

I played 3 sessions today, 2 4 tabling and 1 2 tabling and I got a collective winrate of -18BB/100. Srsly, wtf? I dunno what it is, those little avatar people make it feel like a joke and and then I play like shit. I tried iBollide too to t...

I just played my first session on Propaganda Poker (50NL to get used to things) and to sum it up, it was completely /wrists. I really think the aesthetics and layout completely sucks wrinkly old scrotums. Haven't enjoyed it at all so far except for maybe a few moments when my overpair rivered a set vs a flopped set. That was about it. I am going to try playing again later today so hopefully...

So I decided to take a second, over-rolled shot today at 100NL. It was interesting to say the least. Ran into one cooler and a hell of a lot of tough spots. People seem way more aggressive, it seemed that way last time as well. But as the session went on things cooled down. It was probably all in my head. It was a short session, and I actually ended up +ve this time! Nothing great but at...
