Everest Poker (6.78)
Software
Everest Poker’s software is user friendly, secure, stable, and fast. Graphics are clean and crisp and the software is quite intuitive. The lobby includes your standard poker room games and stakes, followed by table statistics such as players at the tables, viewed flop percentage, etc.
Beginners are definitely considered, as Everest Poker offers a training room where players can learn before jumping into more experienced tables.
Hand histories can be viewed on the software itself, with the only downside being that they expire after 30 days.
Support for multi-tables is available in up to 8 tables of play. Performance runs rather well with small disconnect problems occurring from time to time. The biggest downside, however, is that tables are fixed in size and you cannot resize them.
At the tables is your standard chatbox along with your statistics, avatars, and note taking functionality. What’s great about Everest Poker is that you can change how you’re looking at the table. For example, you can choose to view the table as if you were on a certain position on the table, although you’re not sitting exactly in that position.
Game Selection
Don’t expect to find any games past Texas Hold Em or Omaha, as those are the only two games offered here.
Competition
Expect to find loose competition at Everest, with viewed flop percentages ranging from 50-60%. This can be found in the micros all the way to the highest stakes.
Traffic
While Everest’s traffic isn’t the greatest, it has risen since its inception to decent numbers. Most traffic is concentrated in the Texas Hold Em games.
Support
There have been quite a few reports of support not being thoroughly educated. Speed has also been reported as a problem. To make matters worse, support is only available via contact form on their website.
Bonus/Rakeback
Everest Poker offers a $100 first time signup bonus.
Deposit/Withdrawal Options
Everest has quite a few deposit and withdraw options.
Deposit options: Visa, Mastercard, Neteller, Moneybookers, Click2Pay, Paysafe card, bank draft and ECO Card (French, Spanish, German, and Greek) and 1PAY.
Withdrawal options: Visa, Mastercard, Neteller, Moneybookers, Click2Pay and check.
Security
Security at Everest is good as it is owned by a reputable and publicly traded company.
Everest Equity (do you have any?)
While support could be better, poker tracking support and great bonuses are two redeeming qualities for Everest Poker. The soft competition at all levels and the increasing traffic, largely stemming from the fact that the software is available in multiple languages, makes this place worth checking out.
